Is It Time To Detox?

How our liver is functioning can affect our energy, vitality, hormone balance, as well as our skin. Our liver is our second largest organ and its primary function is detoxification. Today we are exposed to toxins from the external environment as well as those created within. Toxins can be found in food such as food additives and preservatives, as well as exposure to cigarette smoke, pollution and chemicals. Toxins can also be created internally if there is an imbalance of unhealthy bacteria in the digestive tract or if you have a sluggish bowel.
